Copal Partners revenue $40 million in 2009

According to the article (link below),  Copal Partners, a specialized Knowledge Processing Offshoring firm in India has seen a growth of 40% in revenues from 2008-2009 and is around $40 million in revenue with an employee strength of 900.

Banking and Financial Services continues to be a huge driver for outsourcing, not just for specialized niche firms like Copal but even for larger players in the marketplace. A number of the largest vendors from India -TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant all seem to have a large share of revenues coming from Banking and Financial Service sectors.

Niche firms like Copal, Evalueserve which offer ‘higher end’ services to their clients have had to reduce their rates in the last year or so because of the economic slowdown. They do offer specialized , niche services within  the industry and have a better chance at survival and growth then generic small and mid size bpo’s which have been struggling to find growth path and fight shrinking margins.
