Citi doing more BPO work with Wipro ?

Citi which sold it’s technology operations ( Citi Technology Services) to Wipro earlier this year and their BPO arm to TCS looks like is expanding its BPO scope of work with Wipro. It may be still a limited amount of work Citi will expand with Wipro, given that their captive BPO arm sold to TCS has assurances of commited business to TCS as per their deal.
Wipro’s IT deal for application development and maintenance & infrastructure services seems to be a six year 500 million dollar deal.
In a number of these relationships, large corporation tend to have multiple vendors. Either as the result of existing relationships different parts of the organization have had with vendors or as a strategy to mitigate the risk of putting all their eggs in one basket.
