Infosys goes to Brazil

Infosys is planning to go open a center in Brazil to offer nearshoring services to their clients. In the current economic environment typically vendors will not set up a new development center till they sign up a client. Majority of centers setup globally by the vendors outside of their home base ( India based vendors), are typically done on client requests.
Current vendors offering services from Brazil.
TCS – 1,700 people in Brasilia and Sao Paulo
Wipro – Shared services center in Curitiba vs AmBev
