Kimmo Solla is Patni’s PE Services Head

IT major Patni Computer Systems on Monday announced the appointment of Mr Kimmo Solla as Vice-President and Head of the company’s Product Engineering Services practice for the Europe Middle East Africa region.The appointment will strengthen Patni’s product engineering services (PES) proposition and help the company take full advantage of the rise in demand for PES in the region, a press release stated here today.
Before joining Patni, Mr Solla was strategic client partner at software major Wipro, where he was responsible for one of the company’s biggest international accounts. Prior to that, he was global account manager at Capgemini.
Commenting on the appointment, Patni’s Executive Vice-President, Mr Brian Stones said, “We are experiencing major growth in Europe in the PES marketplace and I am delighted to welcome Kimmo to the team. He brings a strong background to the R&D field, alo ng with long-term experience of working with large global clients.” - PTI
