Adventity, the fastest growing global provider of strategic Knowledge Process Outsourcing (KPO) and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) services to the world’s top financial institutions and Global 1000 companies, announced today that it has appointed Sankar Krishnan as Managing Director and Business Development Head, Global Transaction Services.
In his new position, Krishnan will be responsible for leading Adventity’s efforts in North America and Europe to grow the transaction services business, including mortgage origination and processing, bank operations and outsourcing, cash management, trade and securities and funds administration KPO and BPO services. Krishnan will split his time between the company’s New York and Toronto offices.
In addition to the boost to the Global Transaction Services division, Krishnan’s appointment enhances Adventity’s commitment to Canada where the company already is working closely with financial institutions to deliver high quality, cost-effective economies of scale via their three-pronged “people, process and technology” platform.
“Sankar brings exceptional business development and management skills to the Adventity team and will be a key part of our continued growth,” says Niket Patankar, CEO and Co-Founder of Adventity. “With the significant role that Canada plays in the North American Free Trade Association (NAFTA) and in the global economy overall, Adventity is keen to invest further in Canada and grow a presence in line with market needs.”
Prior to his appointment at Adventity, Krishnan was a Director and Senior Vice President for Citigroup’s North America Transactions Services Group. Krishnan was with Citigroup for over 12 years in a variety of product management, sales management, business development and geographic management roles across the Middle East, South Asia, Africa, Europe and North America. Prior to Citigroup, Krishnan held management positions at Standard Chartered bank and Price Waterhouse in the Middle East and South Asia. His specialties include cash and treasury management, trade services and finance, e-Business, custody and fund services.
“There is a real and growing demand for knowledge and business process outsourcing services in North America and Adventity is well-positioned to be a market leader,” said Sankar Krishnan. “I am excited to take on this new opportunity, lead Adventity’s business development efforts and further expand the company’s presence in the KPO and BPO space.”
