AOL reportedly selling Indian business-process operations to Essar unit

AOL is selling its business process outsourcing unit in India to Aegis Communications, a unit of the Essar Group, The Times of India reported, citing a source close to the deal.
It added that AOL will sell the 1,200 seat unit for about $100 million in an all-cash deal.
But Aegis Communications Managing Director and Chief Executive Aparup Sengupta was quoted by the newspaper as saying: “This is purely speculative at the moment and we don’t comment on speculation.”
