Juniper is planning to invest $70 million in an R&D facility in bangalore starting 2008. (ARTICLE). Juniper also is ramping up it’s sales force in Chennai, Delhi , Mumbai and Bangalore.

Currently Juniper has around 800 people in their R&D in Bangalore. The # is supposed to go up by 600 by end of 2008.

Juniper also seems to be aggressively gaining a share of the Indian markets.
